Preparing for the Off-Season: Secure Your Boat with Winter Storage

As the boating season winds down, demand for boat storage is ramping up. With colder months approaching, it’s the perfect time to make sure your boat is protected and ready to take on winter. Reserve your winter storage spot before they fill up! Our storage reservation process is simple: 

1. Deposit: Provide a storage deposit of $500 by either calling in with a credit-card or sending an e-transfer to: payments@tcmarine.com, with “Winter Storage” , your name and your boat information in the message. 
2. Book Pickup or Drop-Off: If you are trailering your boat to us for winter storage you can do so at any time, there is no need to set and appointment. View our hours here. If you need your picked up, please contact our service department to make arrangements. Please ensure your launch ramp is accessible for your scheduled pickup date. 
3. Quick Check-In: One of our staff will check-in your boat for the winter to confirm the details and condition of the boat and also to address any repairs or maintenance it may need over the winter. 
4. Schedule Spring Launch: When we have an idea of when the ice will be out in the spring we will notify all of our storage customers so they can schedule their spring launch. Once your launch date is confirmed by our staff, that’s it! 

What Our Winter Storage Includes

• Engine winterization
• Shrink wrap 
• Engine oil change
• Lower unit oil change
• Add fuel stabilizer 
• Fog engine
• Moisture absorption & ventilation 
• Courtesy cleaning 
• General inspection and recommendations of any additional service or maintenance items such as impellors, belts, spark plugs, coolants, lubricants and electrical components. 

How to Reserve Your Space

To arrange your storage, simply call us and speak with Rebecca (705-657-1299 ext 102 / rebecca@tcmarine.com) or Christina (705-657-1299 ext 301 / warranty@tcmarine.com). They’ll be happy to guide you through the deposit process and answer any questions you may have. You can also send an e-transfer to payments@tcmarine.com, including “winter storage” and your last name in the note to confirm your reservation.
